The song Live For the Day, written and performed by Rositsa Kirilova, is one of the most recognizable and inspiring songs in Bulgarian popular music, conveying a clear message about the value of the present moment. It stands out for its optimism and strong motivational focus, inviting the listener to live consciously, boldly, and fully, without putting life on hold for a “more suitable moment.”

Live for the Day does not rely on complex musical or poetic structures, but on a direct and honest appeal to the listener. The lyrics were written by Dimitar Tsenov, and the musical expression and interpretation are inextricably linked to the artistic persona of Rosy Kirilova. It is precisely her energetic performance that transforms the song into a unique life-affirming call that sounds both personal and universal.

The eponymous album “Live for the Moment,” released in 1993 by “Riva Sound,” is notable for being the first to be released on CD in Bulgaria. This is why many people associate this particular song with “the beginning of the CD era” in Bulgaria.

Over the years, the song has established itself as a symbol of free spirit and personal choice. It remains relevant because it reminds us of something extremely simple yet difficult to achieve—the courage to live fully in the present.

Песента „Живей за мига“, изпълнявана от Росица Кирилова, е сред най-разпознаваемите и вдъхновяващи песни в българската популярна музика, носещи ясно послание за ценността на настоящия момент. Тя се откроява със своя оптимизъм и силна мотивационна насоченост, като приканва слушателя да живее осъзнато, смело и пълноценно, без да отлага живота за „по-подходящ момент“.

Интересното при „Живей за мига“ е, че песента не разчита на сложни музикални или поетични конструкции, а на директно и честно обръщение към човека. Текстът е написан от Димитър Ценов, а музикалното внушение и интерпретацията са неразривно свързани с артистичния образ на Роси Кирилова. С годините песента се утвърждава като символ на свободния дух и личния избор. Тя запазва своята актуалност, защото напомня за нещо изключително просто, но трудно постижимо – смелостта да живееш пълноценно в настоящето.
